Whether you are new to acting, an experienced performer, or looking to get back into the business, this workshop offers an opportunity to learn directly from an actor with extensive experience across theater, television, film, commercials, music videos, and production.
MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR — MICHAEL DEAN
Michael Dean is an award-winning actor, producer, and longtime performer whose career began on stage, including performing the iconic role of the Phantom in The Phantom of the Opera.
His television and film credits include NBC's Las Vegas, See Arnold Run, First Daughter directed by Forest Whitaker, The Heartbreak Cafe, Gene Simmons Family Jewels and numerous independent films and short films. He also performed as a dancer with Cheryl Burke during Season 14 of Dancing With the Stars.
Michael's work in short films includes an award-winning performance at the Vanguard Film Festival, and his producing work has earned recognition at film festivals, including the 168 Film Festival and a screening at the Cannes Short Film Festival.
A lifelong student of the craft, Michael brings his extensive experience on both sides of the camera to the workshop. This is an opportunity to practice, perform, receive feedback, and grow in a supportive creative environment.
